(1) Access a massive catalogue of songs, albums, movies, TV shows, and more.
(2) Most streaming platforms allow you to download content for offline viewing or listening, which is excellent for travel or areas with limited internet connectivity.

Disadvantages

(1) Streaming requires a stable and reasonably fast internet connection. If your internet is slow or unreliable, you may experience buffering, lower video quality, or interruptions while streaming.
(2) While some streaming platforms offer free versions with ads, many require a subscription fee.
(3) When you stream content, you don’t own it. You’re renting access to it as long as you maintain a subscription. If a streaming service removes a movie, show, or song from its library, you lose access to it.

The advantage is that they can help you curate songs that resonate with your previously listened songs without you searching for new songs and getting bored of the ones you listen to frequently.
It’s easy to download and listen to songs at your disposal without using any other third-party medium.

Disadvantages:
To enjoy the app to the fullest, you need to pay a monthly subscription
It would help if you relaid on an internet connection to listen to some music sometimes
You can’t send downloaded music on the app to people

Advantage: Convenience. Streaming platforms offer easy access to a vast library of content, allowing users to enjoy music, videos, films, and podcasts on-demand from various devices. Instead of searching different unprotected websites for these services, you can easily access them.

Disadvantage: Data Usage. Streaming consumes significant data, leading to high data usage charges for users with limited data plans or slower internet connections. Though in some cases, I download for offline use most times, you can easily forget to download and have to spend data to enjoy the service again.

Disadvantages include:
It usually depends on the internet and could consume a lot of Data. Most platforms are paid and could be more cost-effective. There could also be a loss of selected contents, unlike physical copies, and sometimes content availability.
